Video
Some video content is altered to make it responsive on smaller screen sizes, and video placeholders are added for certain video types.
Mediasite#
A Mediasite video item and inline link will be replaced with a video placeholder image.
If the No heading modifier has been used on a Mediasite item the main title will be hidden and a copy of the title will be added onto the play button of the placeholder.
Example
Note
Clicking the placeholder will load the video in an iFrame. Due to the way Mediasite has been implemented, when in an iFrame, clicking the play button will load the video and pause it immediately requiring the play button to be clicked again to start the video.
Clickview#
A Clickview video that has been embedded as inline content will have a responsive wrapper added to it to allow it to scale on smaller screen sizes.

Warning
After inserting a Clickview item, edit it and save it (no changes are required). This will ensure that Blackboard delivers the correct version of the content. Don't ask me why Blackboard doesn't do it right in the first place.
YouTube#
A YouTube video that has been embedded as an item or as inline content will have a responsive wrapper added to it to allow them to scale on smaller screen sizes.
A YouTube video that has been inserted using the thumbnail or text link formats will not be touched.
Content Collection Video#
Video items from the content collection will not be changed.
Note
Storing videos in the Content Collection is no longer recommended. Any videos stored in the Content Collection should be moved to Mediasite.
