Images

There are two main ways to add an image. Either using an image item, or inserting directly into the content editor. These are treated differently by the Content Styler.

Note

Images should be optimised to improve loading speeds and data usage.

Image item#

An image item will keep its set width and height, but will resize responsively on smaller screen sizes. The item title will be removed automatically (i.e. it does not require the No heading modifier.)

If an image item contains a description it will reformat the image as a figure, keeping it at its original size, and use the description as a caption.

Images inserted using the content editor will not be altered. To add a figure caption to this type of image you will need to modify the HTML code directly.
