Known Problems

Manual text formatting#

Because the content styler tries to honour manual styling, some formatting issues can occur that may not be obvious until viewing the styled document.

The most common problem is manually formatted font size on text. This can happen from copying content directly from web pages or MS Word and pasting into the editor. The editor attempts to clean this content, but doesn't always get it right.

This problem can be quickly fixed by selecting the content and using the Clear formatting button . The down-side of this method is that it will clear all formatting, including emphasised text which will need to be reapplied.

A more advanced solution is to manually edit the HTML code to remove the manual styling selectively.

Example

The font size on the paragraph has been manually set to 10pt.
